I originally I created still photo-collages. Subsequently I animated several pieces. I am interested in how information is conveyed differently in still images compared to videos. In the still versions, viewers contemplate these dense layered images at their leisure. More information and connections become visible the longer one contemplates the still image. In the videos, time is literally and symbolically passing. The viewing time is controlled, even if watching the video many times tends to afford the viewer a richer understanding. The videos vary in length from two to four minutes. Click on the image to view each video.
