Produced at Visual Studies Workshop, this autobiographical artist’s book examines issues pertaining to the complexity of family values. These one-page stories grew out of conversations with my two young sons. The stories show how my sons develop their own cultural identity as they assimilate dominant cultural values and stereotypes. The stories also show how I attempt to raise my sons in a manner consistent with my own values. The book is also about communication and miscommunication between generations, issues that confront many families on a daily basis.

Original is a 36-page full color 9 x 7-inch offset book.
